Scout BSA Girl Troop 8027 G is a Girl-Lead Troop.  
Events are planned by the Scouts, with help and support from the adult leaders and troop committee.

 On February 1, 2019, Troop 8027 was founded for girls in the Edwardsville area under the new Scouts BSA program and became one of the first units of its kind in the country and the first in Cahokia Mounds District.  The troop is sponsored by Eden Church and has a "brother" organization: Troop 1031 (a troop for boys also sponsored by Eden).  Both units operate independently, although they do participate in some activities jointly.

If you are wanting to register as a leader or as a scout please go to the following address https://beascout.scouting.org/. Enter zip code 62025 and then click on the Scout BSA button. Then select "Find and Apply".  Scroll down to Troop 8027 Eden Church and select "Apply Now".  You will then be taken to my.scouting webpage where you will need to create a new account. Follow the instructions to complete the application for youth and/or adult.  Once completed the troop and district will be notified of your application.
